February 24th: Repro Shabbat 2025 – Embracing Abortion Positivity Training

On Monday, February 24th at 7 p.m. we will partner with the Abortion Positivity Project to offer a virtual Embracing Abortion Positivity training with their co-founder and CEO, Sophie Nir.

This training teaches a framework of understanding and discussing abortion without stigma or shame. We will learn about the climate of American abortion following the Dobbs decision, how to confront abortion stigma everywhere we see it, and how to align the words we choose with our goal of creating a future where abortion is safe, legal, affordable, stigma-free and accessible for all.

Sophie Nir is the co-founder and CEO of the Abortion Positivity Project. She is the former Executive Director of Eleanor’s Legacy as well as the former Finance Director for New York State Attorney General Letitia James. She is the founder of the Vaccine Vigilantes and a veteran of the campaigns of many prominent women elected officials. She was a 2022 City and State 40 under 40 Rising Star and the 2022 NYS Young Democrats Leader of the Year. She is so proud to support abortion.
