Pregnancy Loss Support Program Clinical Coordinator
Overview:
For over 40 years, NCJW NY’s Pregnancy Loss Support Program (PLSP) has been working to eradicate the stigma surrounding miscarriage, stillbirth and newborn death, while also creating networks of support for our current program participants and alumni. PLSP utilizes professionally trained volunteers to provide phone counseling and to facilitate in-person and virtual support groups for parents who have experienced losses. Our volunteers have had losses themselves, so they can speak from experience to grieving parents, while continuing their own healing process by serving others. In response to increased demand for our service, we are adding this new position to grow our capacity to respond efficiently to all inquiries, with the ultimate goal of reaching more families with this vital service.
