Emily has been assisting and advising students in the college search and application process for more than 13 years. After a successful career as a writer, with three books and numerous magazine articles to her name, Emily began her foray into college admissions counseling by helping students develop thoughtful, well-written essays and prepare them for submission. As students and parents began to ask more questions about the process, Emily realized she needed to become knowledgeable about all aspects of college admissions. She completed UCLA’s College Counseling Certificate Program with Distinction, recognized by AICEP and IECA, the two most highly regarded college admissions advocacy and education bodies. Emily is a Professional member of IECA and a Certified Educational Planner (AICEP).

Madison Norwich (She/Her) is the Manager of Advocacy and Student Programs for Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic where she leads long term advocacy campaigns, cultivates constituency groups like youth and clergy members, and drives community organizing initiatives throughout Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, and Suffolk counties.
