Debbie Havas

Debbie is the Program and Volunteer Coordinator for the NCJW NY . She has been an Upper Westsider all of her life and lives in the neighborhood with her family. While Director of Community Service Learning at The Calhoun School for many years, Debbie prioritized intergenerational programming and volunteering with students at nonprofit organizations around the city including NCJW NY. She is passionate about helping to enhance people’s social, emotional, and physical wellbeing and she is enjoying working with the staff and Council Lifetime Learning participants here to continue those goals. Debbie received her B.S.degree in Recreation and Program Management from Indiana University Bloomington.
