Pro-Truth

Founded and led by NCJW NY, Pro-Truth is a coalition campaign and a movement to fight the deceptive tactics of fake abortion clinics, also known as “crisis pregnancy centers,” in New York City. CPCs use lies, manipulation, and false promises for the sole purpose of preventing pregnant people from choosing and accessing abortion.

There are over 2,000 “crisis pregnancy centers” (CPCs) in the United States, including at least 100 throughout New York State, far outnumbering legitimate women’s health clinics.

WE BELIEVE EVERYONE DESERVES THE TRUTH.

Every pregnant person has a right to know the truth about their health, their body, and their options, so they can make an informed choice.

Religion does not sanction lying.

If our government cannot protect pregnant people against these fake clinics, we will protect each other.

Spark a movement and an outcry among advocates and activists.

Educate at-risk women and girls

Educate at-risk women and girls that these fake clinics exist, so they can protect themselves and their peers from falling victim unwittingly to their deceptive tactics.

Create and maintain an up-to-date interactive map

Create and maintain an up-to-date interactive map of both real and fake clinics, as well as a database of fake clinics including their location and the tactics they are known to use.
