*NEW!* Watercolor: Into the Garden

Participants in this workshop will explore painting fruits, veggies, flowers, birds, butterflies and decorative type. Liquid Watercolors (supplied by NCJWNY) used in this class are transparent, easy to mix and flow beautifully. Each week, there will be a new theme to be illustrated. Loose expressive techniques and tight controlled illustrations, with detail, will be demonstrated. Hand painted type will be fun to do! Participants will have illustrations, photographs, and fresh fruits and veggies for inspiration. Participants should be able to do the techniques of watercolor painting including wet on wet, wet on dry, dry brush, and have good brush strokes skills. This is a great class for practicing skills and learning new ones. This is not a beginner class, there will be an Introduction to Watercolor, beginner class starting in September.
