December 18th: Hanukkah Party With The East Side Quartet
A variety of music from the American song tradition and popular tunes from across the globe. For this holiday event, vocalist Deborah Karpel will perform classic Jewish songs from the Yiddish, Sephardic, and Israeli repertoire. She will also sing popular ‘2nd Avenue’ theater songs and American standards, along with singing in Spanish, Russian and French. Accompanying Deborah are accordionist Izzy Butera, trumpeter David Glukh and Oleg Osenkov on bass. Enjoy lighting of the Hanukkah candles and Latkes after the concert!
Join us in the café at 12:45 PM for latkes! Additional refreshments will be served after the concert.
