NCJW NY has a long and rich history of speaking out for progressive policy change. We continue this tradition today as the leading Jewish voice for economic and reproductive justice for New Yorkers.
For 40 years, NCJW NY has provided nourishing meals and grocery staples to New Yorkers in need, never turning anyone away. Today, our Hunger Program provides so much more than just food.
Older adults are often dismissed or forgotten. But Council House is a place where our elders are welcomed, valued, and respected. We celebrate older adults of all ages and support their caregivers.
NCJW NY is committed to providing a supportive community. Council House is a place of compassion and understanding, a place where one can heal from life’s most difficult losses.
NCJW NY is committed to educational equity, providing support to help level the playing field for low-income students. Our programming helps children develop a love of books and reading, and foster excitement about school.
Whether you’ve never drawn a line or you are an accomplished draftsperson, this class is designed to meet each student’s individual needs, helping them develop or build on their own personal style. Lessons are designed to help participants more accurately draw what they see, as well as retain and improve their drawing skills. A list of supplies needed is available at the front desk.
NCJW NY is becoming an independent New York nonprofit. Soon we will be known as Nava NY. Learn more about our organizational transition and this exciting new chapter by clicking the button below.
