Watercolor and Illustration: Intermediate+

Take your watercolor skills further through a playful, graphic approach to illustration. Designed for participants comfortable with color mixing and wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, dry-brush, and strong brushstroke techniques. Each week features a new theme with photographs and illustrations for inspiration. Explore still lifes, abstract landscapes, fruits and vegetables, flowers, buildings, interiors, fashion, and faces—without rulers, T-squares, or formal anatomy. Emphasis is on expressive techniques, creativity, and having fun! This class uses Liquid Watercolors, a transparent medium that mixes easily and flows beautifully. Participants are welcome to use their own watercolor medium.
