Intro to Watercolor

This is the perfect class for beginners or a refresher for slightly more experienced painters. Basic color mixing plus practicing multiple watercolor techniques including wet on wet, wet on dry, layering, composition and cropping. Demonstrations take place throughout the classes. Confidence, skill, and improved brush stroke control takes time and practice. Watercolor is a magical medium that offers both controlled and unexpected results which can be stunning. Each week offers a new theme/inspiration with references supplied. Liquid Watercolors will be supplied. Participants wanting to work with tubes of color are welcome to bring their preferred medium. A list of other supplies needed is available at the front desk.
