October 16h: Gerson Cultural Art Series – Gabriel Schillinger-Hyman Jazz Quartet

The Gabriel Schillinger-Hyman quartet performs “Ode To The Piano,” a presentation of some of the most moving yet underplayed jazz masterpieces of the 20th century by Duke Ellington, Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea, Dr. Don Shirley, Geri Allen, and Bill Evans. This performance will be complemented by historical storytelling, in which listeners will learn about the master-pianists’ bodies of work as well as the more intimate parts of their personal lives.
