NCJW NY has a long and rich history of speaking out for progressive policy change. We continue this tradition today as the leading Jewish voice for economic and reproductive justice for New Yorkers.
For 40 years, NCJW NY has provided nourishing meals and grocery staples to New Yorkers in need, never turning anyone away. Today, our Hunger Program provides so much more than just food.
Older adults are often dismissed or forgotten. But Council House is a place where our elders are welcomed, valued, and respected. We celebrate older adults of all ages and support their caregivers.
NCJW NY is committed to providing a supportive community. Council House is a place of compassion and understanding, a place where one can heal from life’s most difficult losses.
NCJW NY is committed to educational equity, providing support to help level the playing field for low-income students. Our programming helps children develop a love of books and reading, and foster excitement about school.
Founded in 1999, Vocal Ease has performed thousands of professional cabaret-style shows in NYC. A cast of engaging singers, accompanied by piano and drums, will perform a high-energy, audience-interactive show of favorite standards, musical theater songs and pop songs from different eras. The program will include songs of George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Smokey Robinson and much more.
Light refreshments will be served.
All performances take place on the 2nd Floor of Council House:
241 West 72nd Street
New York, NY 10023
All shows are free and open to the public, thanks to a generous grant from the Gerson Family Foundation
