November 17: Understanding Hoarding Behaviors and How They Affect The Family
Join NCJW NY for a special lecture with Faith Roberson and Dasha Kiper.
Hoarding disorder can have a profound impact on individuals, contributing to isolation, stigma, and unsafe or unsanitary living environments. It can also create significant stress and conflict for family members and others who care for them.
In this presentation, we will identify what constitutes a hoarding problem, examine the complex psychological factors and co-occurring conditions associated with hoarding, and discuss its impact on those closest to the individual. Finally, we will explore practical strategies for making hoarding disorder more manageable for individuals and their families.
